OPERA Lip Tint Oil Rouge in 106 (Limited Edition) (オペラ) リップティント

A delicate Pink-Red shade that instantly elevates your mood.

OPERA (オペラ) Cosmetic first launched in Japan circa 2016 and in short span time successfully gain popularity for its versatile, elegant, and long-wear tinted lipstick. As its debut launch, OPERA cosmetic released lip tint collection that encased in a pink plastic tube. Later on, they reformulated and elevated their signature lip tint in a copper-gold alloy tube with new & limited edition color selection and various finish.

As time goes by, OPERA redesign their concept and released various point makeup products that focus on eye makeup that is mascara & eyeliner. However, I will share to you my previous purchase OPERA Lip Tint Oil Rouge in 106 (Pink Fraise); a limited edition Red-Pink shade was launched back in January 2020.

Begins with the lips: "I want to incorporate the matureness, cuteness, and fashion into the 'just right' feeling without being overworked. For those of us who are good at it." (taken from OPERA cosmetic official website)

Since its first launch, OPERA often collaborates with famous model-artist Miyu Hayashida whose elegantly portrays the brand's grace in every new release. OPERA cosmetic ads truly gives an elegant, fresh and feminine vibes; it brings the joy to be a woman.
106 Pink Fraise (ピンクフレイズ)
(オペラ) リップティント〈限定色〉106 ピンクフレイズ(復刻カラー) or 106 Pink Fraise is a limited edition warm Pink-Red that was released in 22 January 2020 along with 104 Cacao Kiss Sheer Lip color. This limited edition color is retailed for Yen 1.500 (Yen 1.650 after tax) and encased in glamour gold-copper alloy tube with transparent plastic packaging. It is a Limited Edition Spring 2020 collection. You can check Japanese PR article here or OPERA IG.
This berry nuance pink-red is inspired from the freshness of Fraise (strawberry) that leans toward warm tone.
106 Pink Fraise has a shiny finish with tinted formula. Once the shiny finish disappears it will give a nice tinted color on your lip.
The color opacity is rather semi-sheer yet buildable; you can build up the intensity by layering more layers. The moisturizing formula is enriched with squalene oil to keep your lip moisturized and won't accentuate lip lines.
Tint Oil Rouge also gives an illusion of glossy lip with a long-lasting subtle stain yet feels like a lip balm. It glides so smooth and stays for about 2-3 hours. It doesn't have any perfume fragrant, shimmer nor pearly particle.
My Verdict?
I can say that OPERA Tint Oil Rouge is so far one of my best purchase and 106 has the most versatile bold color. Currently, Tint Oil Rouge only has 8 shades selection with 3 different finish (regular shiny type, pearly type and glitter type finish). There is also lip sheer matte finish but I don't have the tendency to have it. The shiny finish is 'just like your typical Japanese makeup'; subtle, not overdo and elegant but with a bold color choice.
Sadly to know that OPERA lip price already hikes up since first bought it in 2020; now is retailed for Yen 1.760 (after tax) and more expensive than all time fave brand "Canmake". However, OPERA formula is a clear winner with its formula; its sturdy stick won't melt easily even when you swipe for several times along with its good formula mentioned above.

In sum, thank you for released 106 Pink Fraise into my world.
