Maybelline offers the latest Color Sensational Lip Polish series; a mixed of 3-in-1 ingredients from lip gloss' shine, lipstick color and moisturizing agents contained in a lip balm. There are 4 shades offered in Indonesia market named from GLAM 2, GLAM 3, GLAM 6 & POP 5 (whilst in another country offers up to 10 shades, hiks)

It's retailed for IDR 85.000 and available in most department stores or leading cosmetic counter. The packaging only comes in a transparent plastic seal and unboxed. The tube is made from sturdy transparent plastic with metallic cap and minimalist design enclosed in it. It is quite small (imho) comes in 7-8 cm length with slanted sponge applicator but the good news it's travel-friendly product in a modern vibe.

The color seems to be vivid in the tube, but when applied on it turns mere subtle. It is a powdery-pink shade, similarly to gorgeous Peony hues, with a slight of yellow under-tone. Nevertheless, it's suitable for both warm and cold tone skin women in which makes this shade is universally flattering. The gloss has micro glitter on; it's noticeable even you can see it with the bare eyes. The texture of the gloss is glossy and sticky; just like typical lip gloss texture yet in a sophisticated result. It has no fragrant at all and lasts in normal 4 hours activity. In the end, the gloss will slightly fade out but the stain & micro glitter will remain.

My Verdict?
I totally adore the color! It's a perfect blush shade for every woman; it's universally flattering. The color is suitable for daily look and it leaves a sophisticated impression without being too 'girly'. However, the staying power is mere normal up to 4 hours; which requires you to reapply the gloss if needed. The con is, I should admit, I'm not a gloss-girl; super glossy texture plus tinge glitter is not my thing. The glossy + micro glitter texture definitely creates super plump-y (and extravagant) lip. However, the formula helps covering up your dry patches and soft, delicate shade will soften the harshness of glossy + glitter texture. Lip Polish is formulated with moisturizing agent to moisturize your lip's surface, so lip balm application is optional.
